TS3 Legacy: Superb-Natural

I’m really sorry for that pun.

Welcome back to my TS3 Legacy!  Last time we were here, the Whelohff family had moved to Hidden Springs, killed a few people, and married Pierce Shawkti into the family.  Nothing too exciting, you see.  And Pierce had successfully impregnated Emilia, fulfilling his main function for the legacy.  As a recap, because I’ve forgotten too, this generation’s goals are Couple, Two Children, Equestrian/Video Game Design – Art, Change of Scenery, Gourmet.  Emilia was supposed to be a Stylist but it kept crashing my game, so we rerolled Equestrian.  Let’s do this!

Silence Serenity: TS2 BACC Month III.V

Hello everyone and welcome back to my TS2 BACC, Silence Serenity!  Last time we were here, the first children of the town grew into adults, and the first Sim died in the town (though our founder is still kicking).  It’s been so long that I seriously had to load up TS2, get paper, and just write down the family trees of everyone so I knew their names.  And I have not been planning this well, so there’s a LOT of families.  SEND HELP.

TS3 Legacy: Death in Paradise

Hello everyone and welcome back to my TS3 Legacy!  Last time we were here, it was still 2015, and the family had just departed from their glitchy home in Twinbrook in the desperate hope that we can keep this legacy going without invisible Sims and rescuing horses from quick-grass.  And where did our 6th-generation family head off to?

TS3 Legacy: Rolling with the Wolves

Hello everyone and welcome back to my TS3 Legacy! I’d give you excuses for why I wasn’t around, but truth is, I’m always this flighty with blogs.

Last time we were here, Zo Whelohff had corrupted our gene pool with her gigantic nose, Winston had moved out to continue the corruption, and our heir Emilia was at right of being killed by her imaginary friend. And some pets grew up, blah blah, the usual. Let’s get into it!

Silence Sirenity: TS2 BACC Month II

Hello everyone and welcome back to my TS2 BACC. Last time we were here, the rural woods were inhabited by my simself and followed by Antony Baguet, who married Danielle the Forest Gang Lady and began breeding plenty of kids (3 to be exact). It’s a Monday night, nearly 10:30PM, and I’m trying to level up my Pokemon to defeat a gym leader that my Pokemon are 10+ levels behind (I use type advantages a lot okay), so why not update this blog while grinding? So I tell myself.

TS3 Legacy: The Giant Nose Invasion

Hello everyone!  Apologies for disappearing — I was playing classic games like Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon SoulSilver, Pokemon You-Gotta-Problem, and Oregon Trail II.  Also reading copious amounts of TV Tropes.  But I thought hey, I should post an update on Into the Sims, and so here I am (rock you like a hurricane).

For the record, the title was inspired by the terrible film, MST3K’d in all of its finest, The Giant Spider Invasion.  Hopefully, you will not find this post as bad as that movie!

Last time we were here, Gabriel had gone to university and then moved out so Charles and Zo could have a billion kids.  Okay, five.  Eldest Maximilian had already moved out, leaving Winston, Emilia, Sasha, and Penelope as the remaining brood.  The pet situation was out-of-control as usual.  So let’s get to it!

TS3 Legacy: Howl with the Dogs

Welcome back to my TS3 legacy! Last time, Charles and Zo Whelohff were married despite the Cow Plant murdering a few wedding guests. I’m antsy to play this family again but didn’t want to be too far behind, so let’s just get moving!

(This may seem a bit distracted as there are maintenance people trying to unclog my garbage disposal and flooding my kitchen in the process)

So, some background. For ages, my sims were unable to go to University. It would stall and crash the game. I looked it up on the interwebz and found out that this could be because the neighborhood was corrupted and followed some fancy instructions to fix it. I told Gabriel to go…

Silence Serenity: TS2 BACC Month I

Hello all! I’ve been stalling on putting this up, but I took so many pictures and tried to record it so carefully that I might as well. A chapter for my TS3 legacy should be up soon as well, but first I figured I’d get this one started.

BACC stands for “Build a City Challenge”. It’s a pretty complicated challenge in which, through unlocking a series of restrictions, you build a city with 50K people. I’m afraid the original rules are lost to history (and by that I mean the Wayback Machine, but you can also find alternative rule sets linked here. I’m following the original rules because they’re enough for me as it is.

So, to start off, there are a few things. You have your founder family, and absolutely NO careers unlocked. You have to make money through other means. Careers are generally unlocked by either random events OR by building certain types of businesses. This challenge could be renamed “Open for Business Adventure” because that’s basically what it is. But it seemed fun to me based off of what Ephemeral Toast did, so I decided to try my own…

TS3 Legacy: Cow Plant Rampage

Welcome back to my TS3 Legacy! This is my first post with it using just WordPress and not copying from DreamWidth, so please bare with me. Last time, 4th-gen. heir Edith had passed away, leaving the legacy to Charles, whose goals are Mixed Couple, 4 Children, Law (Forensics)/Fortune Teller (Psychic), Social Bunny, Luxury.

So last time I had attempted to send Gabriel to college… Er, I think, anyway. I guess it didn’t work or the game crashed or something, because we’re starting off here with…
