Greetings!

Man, I hate WYSIWYG interfaces sometimes. Just let me write things on my own!

Ahem. Greetings and welcome to Into the Sims! I am Breeze/Breezey/Breezeykins/Breezeshadow/Starshadow/Brittany/”Excuse me sir, I mean, ma’am, oh my god I’m so sorry, could you help me reach this on the top shelf?”. You can call me Breeze or Brittany, whatever suits you! The two Sims up there are my simselves in TS2 and TS3 respectively. Apologies that TS3!me was tired and couldn’t be buggered to smile or do anything interesting but waltz off to bed. Also I’m not married IRL; just the only simself in TS2 I had available was the Strangetown one, as the BACC one is kind of sort of dead.

I’ve played Sims for a long time — when my father first bought TS1, I apparently thought it sounded stupid and refused to try it… Until I saw him playing it. In my very first Sim game, Bob Newbie got stuck in a corner, cried, peed himself, passed out, cried, and then starved to death. That about sums up how Sim games react to me.

Regardless, I am now a huge Sim fan — though I always buy games on sale because I’m a cheapskate. I still don’t have TS4; it didn’t grab me, and nothing is worth that kind of price tag (see again: cheapskate!). (Edit: I since have it, but it still took forever)

I was originally posting my legacy on my DreamWidth blog, but I felt like it didn’t belong there, and DreamWidth and I have a stilted relationship anyway, for personal reasons. I toyed with the idea of making a separate blog for my Sims, and while I was tempted to go with Blogspot again (I have an abandoned cooking blog there), but decided for whatever reason to have 50 thousand blogs, and made this one for Sims.

I have my simselves there up for download directly from here, and I will give you their personalities, as it will be faster than telling you directly about me!

TS2: Knowledge, 5 Neat, 3 Outgoing, 5 Active, 6 Playful, 6 Nice
YA Simself; Adult Simself

That’s probably too generous on the Nice category. And I’m afraid I overdid it in Bodyshop and my face is kind of reminiscent of a spinster. Oops.

TS3: Unflirty, Neurotic, Shy, Artistic, Vegetarian
SimSelf & Thalia

That’s pretty much on the mark…

TS4: Creative, Unflirty, Cat Lover
Simself & Thalia

While that’s also pretty much on the mark.

I play Sims very much for fun, but ever since a friend introduced me to the world of legacies and challenges, I’ve tried out a few. I’ll transfer my TS3 Legacy posts over to here, and also make an attempt to get my BACC on here as well. Or maybe this whole thing will just end up abandoned like Dinner Time. They need an ADD Trait.

I will try to return to posting my writing on my DW blog as well, so please go over there and read and comment on my work! I write semi-realistic fantasy, fueled by tea and an overactive, somewhat-disturbing imagination. You know you want to read now 😉

So please grab a cup of tea, a bite of chocolate, and I hope you enjoy your stay.

TS3 Legacy: The Baby House

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my TS3 legacy, last updated over a year ago! Awkward. I was having too much fun having a stressful year and playing my TS4 apocalypse challenge.

Last time, the twins grew up, the cats grew up, and Trent sucked at being a mime. Let’s see how much of this I can write with a headache!

Silence Serenity Month XII: Pederson, Ramaswani, Centowski

Well hello there! Did winter/spring treat everyone well? I fell off of a stepladder on April Fool’s and broke my ankle. The universe decided I was the joke, or as a coworker put it “You celebrated by being the fool.”

Last time, we looked in on the many, many Baguet branches in the town. And we’re not done! There’s still a few more offshoots that we need to check in on, but the ones this time have their own last names. Or are randomly in the middle like the Ramaswanis.

My apologies in advance for the size of the photos. Apparently something got changed with my settings and they ended up only 400×300. I just went in and fixed that so in about 500 years, we’ll be back to normal-sized shots.

Silence Serenity: Month XII, The Baguets

Welcome back to my TS2 BACC, a challenge where we make everything as complicated as possible, including my posts recording it. This post will focus on the Baguet families during their twelfth rotation. Hopefully I’ll be able to cram all of them in here, considering they’ve taken over the town and all.

Last Time took three posts to get through, but several Sims moved out, several Sims popped out, and the love triangles turned into what is best described as a “love clusterfuck”. Let’s continue on in the madness of Hillsdale, shall we?

TS3 Legacy: The Corruption Grows

Oh, how I hate summer. We tend to go from winter straight to summer here, and today it’s humid and in the 80s and I have a throbbing headache. So until the ibuprofen kicks in, I might as well update this poor blog, eh?

So welcome back to my TS3 Legacy! Last time we were here, Trent practiced magic, Jessica gave birth to another kid, and Bruce continued to expose himself to the whole family. I guess you get murder or indecent exposure with this family. Let’s see which one we get today, hm?

Silence Serenity: Month XI.X

Hello, and welcome back to my TS2 BACC, Silence Serenity! In the future, I will most likely be grouping these posts by families, as clearly going by month, in roman numerals, has just gotten confusing as the town grows bigger and bigger. Maybe this challenge wasn’t made for blogging. Who knows.

Last time, we follows the families through… Well, a lot of infidelity, actually. Between Abraham and Euro, seems like everyone was making out with someone other than their spouse. Will the trend continue?

TS3 Legacy: Fall of the Seer

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my TS3 Legacy! Excitedly, with this post (or possibly the next), we will have completely caught up to the game save, and assuming my game stops crashing, I’ll be able to provide live updates instead of guessing what happened in old photos! It’s exciting to me, at least.

Last time, three of our five required kids had survived infancy, a new foal was born, and by some miracle we managed not to kill any guests! Is this family becoming more pacifist?

Silence Serenity: Month XI.V

Welcome back, folks, to my TS2 BACC challenge. At the time I started this post, I was still freakin’ sick and it turned NaNoWriMo into a total dud, but two months later I have doctors searching for answers for once in my life, so why not update this blog to distract myself from the prep I need to start tomorrow?

Last time, we followed a lot of (formerly) single ladies within the community, and then stopped by the Ramaswani’s place. Lots of drama happening throughout the city — has it continued? Let’s find out!
